Reasons for Exemption
Section 15182 of the Public Resources Code mandated that projects that are consistent with the development density established by existing zoning, community plan, Specific Plan or General Plan policies for which an Environmental Impact Report was certified shall not require additional environmental review, except as might be necessary to examine whether there are project-specific effects which are peculiar to the project or its site.
This project does not propose any changes to the existing map cod designations established by the Rosamond Specific Plan and will in fact implement uses that are consistent with the previously adopted map code designations and will complement existing development on-site. The proposed development will prompt consistency with both the Specific Plan and zone District as the use can serve the surrounding community and area residents.
