The existing chain link fence will be replaced with a wrought iron fence and about ¼ ton rock mulch and rock blanket will be placed to restrict access to walls and deter re-encampment in the area. Some project elements will occur off the paved roadway. One-way traffic control will be required during construction. Construction is estimated to begin in April of 2026. Construction shall remain within Caltrans right of way (ROW) and equipment shall be staged within Caltrans ROW in areas absent of vegetation.
