Department of Water and Power (LADWP) by the Port of Long Beach and Port of Los Angeles, granting LADWP permission to
place via jack and bore, operate, and maintain an underground 34.5-kiloVolt (kV) electric wireline inside an approximately 50-
foot (L) 30-inch steel casing at Mile Post 21.46 for a duration of five years. In addition, a separate JRP (TR-25-70) grants LADWP
permission to use property at Mile Post 21.47 for construction laydown in connection with the installation of the underground
34.5-kV electric wireline for a duration of one year. The Permits shall be effective upon last execution by the Executive Director
of the Port of Long Beach and Port of Los Angeles.

topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of existing or former use. The project involves the leasing of property
for construction laydown in connection with the installation of underground electric wireline involving negligible or no expansion
of existing or former use.

Reasons for Exemption
The Class 3 Categorical
Exemption consists of construction and location of limited numbers of new, small facilities or structures; installation of small

only minor modifications are made in the exterior of the structure. Further, section (d) includes construction of water main,
sewage, electrical, gas, and other utility extensions, including street improvements of reasonable length. The project involves
the placement, operation, and maintenance of approximately 50-feet of underground 34.5-kV electric wireline inside a steel
casing.
