The proposed E Street Complete Streets, Cesar Chavez to El Dorado Project (Project) includes the construction of various roadway improvements along an approximately 1.3-mile segment of E Street between Cesar Chavez Boulevard (also known as Ventura Avenue) and El Dorado Street, including rehabilitation of existing pavement in some areas, complete street reconstruction in other areas, reduction of the number of travel lanes from four lanes to two lanes between Tulare Street and El Dorado Street, installation of buffered class II bicycle lanes and sidewalks, and installation of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)-compliant curb ramps.
