Document Description
To replace the existing Union Pacific Railroad Bridge at Mile Post 190.84 on the Sacramento Subdivision that crosses North Honcut Creek. The existing bridge is a 22-span Timber Stringer Trestle-Ballast Deck (TST-BD) bridge, 315 feet long with a 16-foot-wide deck. The proposed bridge is an 11-span, 30-inch-deep prestressed concrete box (PCB) bridge, 332 feet long with a 17-foot-wide deck. The project includes the excavation of 83 cubic yards of material to extend the bridge length, placement of new rip rap, removal of existing bridge piers and six temporary culverts, a temporary causeway and crane mats. Excavated material will be removed from site and disposed of outside floodplain.
