Document Description
This proposed Project involves the foundation repair of the Huntington Beach Pump located at 8092 Adams Avenue in the City of Huntington Beach. The scope of work for the Project includes stabilizing the existing office foundation with helical pile anchors to prevent the office from further sinking as the previous compaction of the foundation has declined to 75% of the previous level. This repair work will require the removal of the north office exterior wall for heavy demolition equipment and to allow for the installation of the helical pile anchors. The Project will implement standard BMPs, will not require traffic control measures or lane closures, and will need approximately 10 round-trip truck trips for construction. In addition, the Project will take approximately 6 months to complete beginning in January 2026.
