Document Description
A Right of Entry permit request has been received from Catalyst Environmental Solutions for biological and cultural visual pedestrian access to survey in advance of and subsequently monitor work for the Orni-5 Truckhaven Geothermal Project. The issuance of a Right of Entry permit classifies as a project under CEQA. Per Catalyst, the right of entry permit would allow survey boundaries that overlap State Parks property to be included in their assessment to ensure comprehensive biological and cultural resources documentation. Approximately 201.52 acres would be assessed for burrowing owl and 25.18 acres for cultural resources. The collection of significant resources will not occur without the approval of State Parks, and no ground disturbing activities are planned on state lands.
