Document Description
The project is located on the northwestern side of Hayfork Valley in Trinity County at APN 019-510-07-00. The topography is flat, and the site is accessed using Westridge Road. Typical surrounding land uses are zoned unclassified rural residential. There is one other licensed cannabis farm in close proximity to the project. The project proposes a small outdoor cultivation with 9,780 sf of mature canopy area. Cultivation of mature canopy is in within four hoop houses. An onsite groundwater well and two 2,500-gallon water storage tanks are present. A generator provides power for the project. A permitted onsite septic system serves wastewater needs.

Reasons for Exemption
The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is consistent with the local jurisdiction community plan and/or zoning designations. CEQA mandates that the project is consistent with the development density established by existing zoning, community plan, or general plan policies for which an EIR was certified and shall not require additional environmental review, except as might be necessary to examine whether there are project-specific significant effects which are peculiar to the project or its site. The project activity fits within the parameters included in CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 and the activity does not require additional CEQA analysis.
