HVAC installation in all classrooms, offices and support spaces (including Auditorium, Cafeteria and Kitchen) located in permanent buildings on site, Accessibility upgrades to path of travel, parking, Drop off area restrooms and drinking fountains per current building code, Utility systems upgrades (e .g. electrical, low voltage, water, sewer, etc.) as required to support HVAC installation, New projectors, projector screens and markerboards in classrooms, New projectors, project screens in library and auditorium, Removal and replacement of interior lighting, Upgrades to building finishes (e.g. new ceilings, flooring, painting), New tactile signage required throughout the campus for rooms and exits. The entire campus will undergo building/room re-numbering per current District standards, Window, glazing and/or door replacement as required, Patch and repair of roofing for new HVAC units, Fire Alarm Upgrades and signage, Campus-wide Fire Alarm upgrades, Seismic upgrades, if required, per DSA IR EB-4, Health department and city, new shade structures.

Reasons for Exemption
The Proposed Project consists of minor alterations, repair, replacement, and upgrades to existing school facilities, including installation of HVAC systems in permanent buildings, accessibility and utility improvements, hardware and finish upgrades, roofing and door replacement. campus-wide fire alarm and seismic safety improvements, and related signage and numbering updates, as well as other health, safety, and code compliance measures consistent with the District's Facility Master Plan. All work would occur within the existing developed campus and would not expand capacity or change the use of the site. Refer to Attachment A for further reasons of the applicability of Class 1 and 14 Exemptions.
