Document Description
The purpose of this project is to install an accessible parking pad, accessible portable toilet, outdoor bulletin board, and create two (2) picnic areas in and near the existing gravel parking lot at Delta Meadows Park Property to make the property more accessible and provide recreational and related facilities to park visitors. Work will: Use weed whippers, hedgers, and mowers to remove vegetation from work areas; Level four (4) areas where concrete or decomposed granite will be poured; Pour a 17-ft x 18-ft x 4-in. deep concrete pad to create one fully striped (1) 9-ft x 18-ft ADA parking space with a 5-ft access aisle; Pour a 6-ft x 11-ft x 4-in. deep concrete pad to support one (1) ADA compliant portable restroom; In the proposed picnic areas, install 6-in. of decomposed granite (DG) to create one (1) 50-ft x 45-ft picnic area and one (1) 25-ft x 25-ft picnic area; Construct a 36-in. wide by 30-ft long ADA compliant path from the ADA parking pad to the picnic areas; Dig one (1) 48-in. deep hole to install an outdoor bulletin board and one (1) 12-in. deep hole to install an accessible parking sign; and Pour concrete to set the bulletin board and the parking sign posts in concrete.
