Document Description
The Project will replace the boat launch ramp and make improvements to the facilities and parking lot at Pillar Point Harbor in Half Moon Bay, San Mateo County. The existing boat launch ramp is in poor condition and requires replacement. Approximately 500 cubic yards of sediment will be removed from the boat ramp prior to repairs. Precast concrete panels will be placed over the lower portion of the ramp, and cast-in-place concrete will be overlayed on the upper portion of the ramp. The ramp will be extended five feet waterward. Approximately 600 square feet of additional rock scour replacement will be placed. The Project will also replace existing timber boarding floats with new aluminum-framed boarding floats. Other Project activities include replacing the existing restroom, replacing damaged concrete roadways and sidewalks, and improvements to onsite stormwater drainage systems, as well as an offsite stormwater alternative compliance project.
