Caltrans approves of the encroachment permit that Southern California Edison (SCE) is proposing to replace seven transmission poles along State Route 138 (SR-138), between PM 21.90 and 22.89, as well as to perform associated temporary traffic control activities on W Ave D, in the County of Los Angeles, within the State right-of-way. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 108 inches, an average width of 24 inches, and a maximum length of 2 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
