Document Description
Caltrans proposes installing end-of-queue detection for Variable Message Signs (VMS) on I-580 at the approaches to Golf Links Road. Construction equipment to be used includes, but may not be limited to, Wavetronix HD sensor equipment, two sets of microwave radios, conduits, poles, and antennas. The end-of-queue detection will connect to service cabinets and PG&E service. Some project elements will occur off the paved roadway. Clearing and grubbing right of way (ROW) either on or immediately adjacent to the roadway. Equipment shall be staged within Caltrans ROW in areas absent of vegetation.
