Caltrans approves of the encroachment permit that Southern California Edison (SCE), is requesting to access street lights 4306773E and 4306771E to install 530 feet of 1-3 inch conduit, remove hand hole H209B, install hand hole H209E, remove existing direct buried cable and perform temporary traffic control activities on Madison Street at Pacific Coast Highway (Route 1), at postmile (PM)15.79 in the City of Torrance, County of Los Angeles. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 42 inches, an average width of 24 inches, and a maximum length of 900 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
