Document Description
Notice of exemption for Coastal Conservancy approval of grant funding. The Coastal San Luis Resource Wildfire Resilience Public Works Plan project (CSLRCD project) will develop a Forest Health and Wildfire Resilience Public Works Plan (PWP) through a partnership between the Coastal San Luis Resource Conservation District (CSLRCD) and Montrose Consulting. The PWP is a tool to streamline permitting under the California Coastal Act. The PWP will establish a framework to efficiently review and authorize vegetation management projects within the CSLRCD project area using principles, strategies, and best management practices that align fire prevention activities with the protection of coastal resources. The PWP will function as a companion to CAL FIRE's statewide Vegetation Treatment Program and its associated Programmatic Environmental Impact Report.
