Document Description
The purpose of the project is to preserve the structural integrity of these structures in a safe and economic manner to delay, prevent, and minimize major rehabilitation or replacement through preventive maintenance strategies. The project proposes bridge preventative maintenance work at 15 various locations along I-15 and I-40. The project includes, but is not limited to, polyester concrete overlay, joint seals, patch spall, and repaving bridge approach asphalt from the abutment to about 30 feet away. In addition, pavement transition tapers would be required on roadways adjacent to bridges receiving an overlay.
