Document Description
Caltrans approves of the encroachment permit that Pacific Bell Telephone Company, dba AT&T California, proposes to excavate and access the existing cabinet (SAI) located within Caltrans right-of-way on State Route (SR) 2, as well as to perform associated temporary traffic control activities at postmile (PM) 13.22 in the City of Los Angeles, County of Los Angeles. The existing AT&T cabinet in the parkway is to be removed and replaced with an underground splice box. Cabinet to be removed and a 6-inch by 4-inch area to be excavated to lower an existing conduit and cables, and install a 3-inch by 5-inch underground splice box in its place. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 54 inches, an average width of 36 inches, and a maximum length of 5 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
