Document Description
The City of Redding will construct a non-motorized project to improve non-motorized access to the downtown area and to existing non-motorized trail facilities. The project includes 1,900-feet of shared use path, a two-way cycle track, raised crosswalks, raised intersection, bicycle lanes, sidewalk, curb and gutter modifications, pedestrian safety lighting, barricade fence, and protective bollards. Construction will consist of grading, drainage modification, vegetation removal, utility relocation, lighting, paving, striping, and sign replacement. The project may include vegetation planting and the installation of irrigation equipment. The project will be located on City streets, City prope1ty, and private property. The public will be notified prior to construction.

The project has been reviewed for sensitive resources and will not have a significant effect on biological or cultural resources such as threatened or endangered species or their habitats, sensitive vegetation communities, tribal lands, or tribal cultural resources. There are no active hazardous waste sites within the project limits. The project has no potential to have a significant effect on the environment.
