Reasons for Exemption
The project consists of the development 72 unit, deed-restricted affordable housing development and one (1)manager's unit on 1.44-acres. The County has reviewed the project materials and determined that the project is eligible to be processed pursuant to Government Code Section 65913.4 (SB 35). Under state law, approval of the project is considered ministerial and not subject to review under CEQA (see Pub. Res. Code Section 21080(b)(1); CEQA Guidelines Section 15268). Therefore, the project is exempt from the provisions of CEQA, and no further environmental review is required.
