Document Description
In February 2020, a portion of Needham Ranch Open Space was dedicated to the City of Santa Clarita (City) by the Needham Ranch Land Company, LLC. The land dedication included a 36-acre parcel of open space. The transfer in ownership of this parcel also included ownership of six idle oil wells located on the property. The City is proposing to plug and abandon these idle wells in accordance with CalGEM's regulations.
