The project involves the diversion and beneficial use of water from the Navarro River. The application proposes the diversion to offstream storage of up to 12 acre-feet of water per year at a rate not to exceed 0.218 cubic foot per second from December 15 of each year to March 14 of the succeeding year. The license authorizes the direct diversion and diversion to offstream storage of up to 84 afy at a rate not to exceed 0.218 cfs from March 15 to September 1 of each year. The petition proposes to change the purpose of use and place of use for diverted water, and dedicate a portion of the water to instream uses in the Navarro River.
