Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to realign a 0.5-mile section of State Route (SR) 1 near Pescadero State Beach by approximately 32 feet to the east, where coastal bluff erosion has damaged the existing roadway. The project area is along SR 1 between Reservoir Road and Pescadero Creek Road in San Mateo County (post mile 13.1 to 13.9). The project would include new pavement and striping, relocation and construction of a new unlined drainage ditch, and culvert improvements.
