Document Description
SPI proposes to replace the existing bridge on King Ridge Road crossing Austin Creek, to the north of the town of Cazadero CA. The proposed project consists of removing the existing deficient one-lane bridge and replacing it with a new two-lane bridge and then removing the existing bridge. The new bridge will be constructed on a new road alignment just upstream of the existing bridge. Traffic will remain on
the existing bridge and road alignment during the new bridge construction and then moved to the new bridge after it is completed. The existing bridge will then be removed. The overall project will take two construction seasons, with the new bridge and road realignment completed in the first construction season and the existing bridge removal completed in the second construction season.
