Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. EPIMS-SON-13628-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Dave Brazil. The project is limited to rehabilitation, re-establishment, and enhancement of tidal wetland, seasonal wetland, and riparian and non-perennial stream. These restored communities are intended to mimic the historic condition of the site and improve habitat value. In total, the project will result in the transition to a wetland mosaic and wet meadow habitat, providing an increase in overall habitat of approximately 4.79 acres. Although there is a net loss of approximately 142 linear feet of stream channel, this is purposeful and required to transition the habitat type to meet historical conditions. No trees will be removed as part of this project.
