Document Description
San Luis Obispo County Flood Control and Water Conservation District proposes a temporary transfer of 500 acre-feet of surplus 2025 State Water Project (SWP) water supplies to the Palmdale Water District (Palmdale). The water will be stored by Palmdale. A second transfer of 350 acre-feet will be conducted to return the water, and this is anticipated to occur the following year (2026) from Palmdale to San Luis Obispo County Flood Control and Water Conservation District. Palmdale is also a State Water Contractor.
