Document Description
The proposed project will be completed in two phases. The first phase consists of executing a lease agreement between Sunrise Recreation and Park District and AT&T for a Wireless Telecommunications Facility (WCF) permit at Tetotom Park at 5127 Heartland Drive in the Antelope community of unincorporated Sacramento County. The second phase of the proposed project can only occur if the proposed lease agreement is executed (approved). Execution of the lease would allow for AT&T to construct and operate a new WCF. Therefore, Phase 2 consists of a request for a Use Permit by the Sacramento County Planning Commission to construct a new 50-foot-tall WCF within a lease area of about 556 square feet, located on the east side of the tennis courts at Tetotom Park. The WCF is designed to match existing cell towers, located on the west and east side of the tennis courts. The proposed WCF will accommodate six (6) panel antennas, nine (9) RRUs (remote radio units), three (3) air antennas, 30KW backup generator, and associated electrical equipment. The WCF will be unmanned and will require occasional maintenance; site access will be via a shared (with Verizon) 10’ wide utility easement which would connect to the park’s existing interior roadway. Pruning of nearby trees will be required for the construction of the WCF. The applicant will coordinate work with a qualified arborist. In addition, AT&T proposes to replace an existing light pole, located directly outside of the WCF lease area, with a new 50-foot-tall light pole.
