Document Description
The proposed project is the 2025 Christmas Parade, an annual event, in the City of Avenal, California. This will be a one-day event that will occur on December 6, for the purpose of celebrating the Christmas holiday and strengthening bonds within the community. The parade is expected to begin at the corner of King Street and 1st Avenue. The route will travel east along Kings Street, head northeast along Skyline Boulevard (SR 269), head north along 7th Avenue, and end at Merced Street. The parade duration, including lineup, is anticipated to begin at 4:30 p.m. and following the parade, residents will be invited to the tree lighting which will end at approximately 8:00 p.m.
