Document Description
The City of Redding (City) is proposing to combine the Churn Creek Road/Victor Avenue intersection and the Churn Creek Road/, and Rancho Road intersection into a single roundabout intersection to provide safe and sustainable transportation and accommodate traffic associated with current and projected development. Design includes accessible curb ramps, bike lanes and shared-use paths, raised splitter islands, street lighting, and landscaping. As a result of the widening of Churn Creek Road, the Anderson Cottonwood Irrigation District (ACID) Division 5 lateral earthen ditch will be reconstructed and conveyed through an underground 36-inch reinforced concrete pipe and reconnected via three (3) service lines called turn outs.
