Document Description
Caltrans proposes to remove the existing deteriorated asphalt concrete and construct new concrete pavement along two lanes and edge line delineations on NB I-5 just south of the Santa Margarita River Bridge (57-0007R). The existing deteriorated asphalt concrete of lanes #3 and #4 (200ft x 24ft), located south of the Santa Margarita River Bridge, is in very poor condition with multiple cracks and potholes across all lanes. Rehabilitation is needed with concrete recommended as a replacement instead of asphalt concrete.
