The work consists generally of construction including: Survey and mark-outs, traffic control and public convenience and safety barricades / plates / signage / ventilation / lighting / power / shoring (with related wet stamped engineering) and jacking, cleaning of existing pipeline as required, performing CCTV inspection of existing pipeline prior to lining process, performing point repairs, performing CIPP trenchless lining, replacing pipeline, re-establishing tie-ins / laterals, jacking depressed sections of pipe into place or re-rounding into place, performing CCTV post lining inspection, related concrete / concrete reinforcement, slurry, and grouting activities, restoring all damaged improvements as a result of any construction activities, construction dewatering, removing spoil material, and compliance with all applicable storm water pollution prevention (NPDES) requirements and BMPs.

Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project is Categorically Exempt pursuant to CEQA guidelines Section 15301 (Existing Facilities) and Section 15302 (Replacement or Reconstruction) for the maintenance and replacement of existing facilities.
Class 1 (Existing Facilities) consists of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, licensing, or minor alteration of existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of existing or former use.
Class 2 (Replacement of Reconstruction) consists of replacement or reconstruction of existing structures and facilities where the new structure will be located on the same site as the structure replaced and will have substantially the same purpose and activity as the structure replaced.
