Design and construction of an office building at Oroville Field Division (OFD) Headquarters Campus to house both License Coordination Branch (LCB) and Oroville Project Headquarters (OPH) staff?. The building will be 9,645 Square Feet and will house 24 OPH, and 16 LCB staff, 2 restroom, a break room, conference room, site grading, retaining wall, a paved parking area, and utility connection. This portion of the project is for exploratory drilling to support foundation report and topographic surveying.

Based on review of the CEQA guidelines and project-specific information it was determined that proposed geotechnical exploration is categorically exempt from CEQA pursuant to CEQA exemption Class 6, Information Collection. The Class 6 CEQA exemption consists of basic data collection which does not result in a serious or major disturbance to an environmental resource. The scope of the proposed geotechnical exploration under this effort is for information gathering purposes, specifically to inform potential modifications to the Project.
