The project will also cold plane the existing asphalt concrete pavement on either side of both bridges at PM 10.94 on SR-37 and repave using hot mix asphalt Type A. There will also be compaction grouting, roadway excavation, and backfilling 5 cubic yards of imported borrow on the south side of the bridge at PM 12.63 on I-80. Some project elements will occur off the paved roadway, but all work shall remain within Caltrans right of way (ROW). Equipment shall be staged within Caltrans ROW in areas absent of vegetation.
