Document Description
The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) proposes improvements at existing stations to create Mobility Hubs (Project) to support safe and convenient transfers between transportation modes, support first/last mile connections to transit, and enhance the viability of travel options. The Project includes improvements within and in the immediate area surrounding the Mobility Hub stations within Metro and/or City-owned rights-of-way.

The Project involves minor alterations to existing public facilities within established public ROWs and does not result an expansion of use of new transit operations. The proposed improvements and activities meet the definition of a project under CEQA and also meet the required conditions to be considered categorically exempt under CEQA. Therefore, the Project qualifies for an exemption under Section 15301 of the CEQA Guidelines, Class 1.
