Notice of Exemption

Exempt Status
Categorical Exemption
Type, Section or Code
Section 15301 (Existing Facilities) and 15303 (New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures)
Reasons for Exemption
Permit Sonoma has determined the project categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act under Section 15301 (Existing Facilities) and 15303 (New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures) of the CEQA Guidelines, which provides that projects determined not to have a significant effect on the environment include those involving construction and location of limited numbers of new small structures and the permitting of existing private structures consisting of no expansion of existing or former use, consistent with the current proposal. No exceptions listed under Section 15300.2 apply. There is no reasonable possibility that the project would have a significant effect on the environment.
