The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes an emergency project to replace the full-length bridge deck of Bridge No. 29-0082R at box girder bay 3 and 4 in San Joaquin County on Interstate (I) 580 at postmile 12.74. All work will be within Caltrans Right of Way. The purpose of this project is to address the failed bridge deck. The project is needed to prevent the loss or impairment of life, property, or essential public services.
