Caltrans approves of the encroachment permit that Southern California Edison (SCE) to remove and replace a 25-foot wood pole, span-guy wires, down-guy wires, and anchor with a 40-foot wood pole, span-guy wires, down-guy wires, and anchor, at postmile (PM) 5.05 on State Route (SR) 138, in the Quail Lake area, County of Los Angeles. Excavation will have a maximum depth of 72 inches, an average width of 24 inches, and a maximum length of 2 feet. No public utilities will be relocated, and no new right-of-way will be acquired for the project.
