Reasons for Exemption
The proposed project includes installation of an accessible path of travel, pour-in-place rubber surfacing at play equipment, irrigation system adjustments, new benches, new play structure, and new shade sail at play structure. The project will repair and replace existing facilities which will involve only negligible expansion of the use of the existing facilities and will meet current standards of public health and safety. The reconstruction of these public improvements, facilities and structures will occur entirely within the existing park and will have substantially the same purpose and capacity as the facilities and structures being reconstructed.
