The project consists of the new construction of a 748-square foot ADU, consisting of 2 bedrooms and 1 .5 bathrooms. The ADU will be located on the second floor of a detached 1,292 square foot total detached structure on a parcel with an existing single-family residence in the Residential (RD-5) zoning district. Therefore, the project is exempt from the provisions of CEQA.
