Document Description
Signed Notice of Determination documenting San Mateo County Board of Supervisors Approval of Final IS/MND for the Wurr Road, Pescadero Creek Road, and Cloverdale Road Culvert Repairs Project. The County of San Mateo Department of Public Works (County) is proposing a series of actions to repair culverts and construct site improvements to improve water quality and maintain proper roadway drainage conveyance along Wurr Road, Pescadero Creek Road, and Cloverdale Road near the communities of Pescadero and Loma Mar in unincorporated San Mateo County, California. The Project would include improvements such as new headwalls, and rock inlet protection and energy dissipation, installation of three new culverts, and replacement or upsizing of seven culverts along Wurr Road and Pescadero Creek Road. In addition, restoration work is proposed at the Cloverdale Road site. Proposed restoration activities will restore and enhance habitat for sensitive and common species and improve fish passage by demolishing the existing weir structures and concrete channel, restoring the channel and banks, and removing accumulated sediment.
