Document Description
In June 2024, approximately 27 acres of the Torrey Pines Extension burned in a vegetation fire. During the winter of 2024–2025, rain runoff damaged the Margaret Fleming Trail. This project proposes repairing the lower section of the trail, improving water flow, and reopening the trail. Repairs will cover approximately 550–600 feet of trail. Work will be done with small equipment and hand tools. Materials may include crushed rock, decomposed granite, and native fill from the nearby sediment basin. Further project details and measures to be implemented to avoid and/or minimize environmental impact may be obtained by submitting a request to the project Environmental Coordinator listed below.
