The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number AMA-61174-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Jackson Valley Irrigation District. The project is focused on restoring damage caused by severe winter storms in January 2023. Restoration efforts include stabilizing 260 feet of the south bank with fill dirt and quarry rock, installing two drainpipes, and removing 680 cubic yards of sediment from within Jackson Creek to reduce erosion and redirect flow.
