Document Description
This project consists of several real property transactions between CCWD and Walker Family Ranches, LLC (the Walkers), located south of the Los Vaqueros Watershed off Vasco Road. The following transactions will occur: 1) CCWD currently holds a wind easement on Walker property (APN 99B-6100-2-12 in Alameda County and APN 005-070-020 in Contra Costa County) adjacent to Vasco Road. CCWD will quitclaim this wind easement to the Walkers. 2) CCWD currently holds a temporary construction easement (TCE) on property owned by the Walkers (APN 99b-6100-2-12, 99b-6100-2-10, and 99b-6100-2-11 (portion) in Alameda County) that has now expired. This TCE was originally obtained for construction of the relocated Vasco Road and is no longer needed. CCWD will quitclaim this expired TCE to the Walkers. Altamont Winds LLC (Altamont) is recording a conservation easement on the Walker properties to fulfill mitigation requirements associated with Altamont’s Summit Wind Repowering Project. CCWD’s existing wind easement and expired TCE are located on Walker properties that would be included in the conservation easement and need to be quitclaimed before the conservation easement can be recorded.
