Document Description
Project proposes to create an interpretive space with outdoor and classroom and an agricultural demonstration garden at Jack Landon State Historic Park to educate park visitors to the benefits of regenerative and climate friendly farming techniques. Access to and from the new exhibit will be provided by the construction of two (2) new trails that will create an up-and- back loop. The area will include: •Garden beds for interpretation of agricultural practices; •Gathering areas for recreational activities or use as outdoor classrooms; •One (1) restroom facility (porta-potty or pit (vault) toilet); •A solar power system and water pump; •A compost pile; •Water storage tanks and rain catchment system; •An accessible access pathway; and •Interpretive signs and panels.
