Document Description
Caltrans proposes the ED/PLA 49 Capital Preventative Maintenance (CAPM) project to preserve the existing pavement structure and prevent further deterioration of the roadway along State Route (SR) 49. The project is within El Dorado and Placer counties on SR 49 approximately 0.1 miles north of Rattlesnake Bar Road near Coloma to Elm Avenue in Auburn. This project is needed to extend the operational life of various drainage systems, upgrade non-compliant signage, pedestrian facilities to meet ADA standards, and improve overall safety features within the project limits. The project also reduces future higher maintenance costs as well.
