Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Profession Code, Division 10, Chapter 2, Section 26012, approved a Specialty Outdoor commercial cannabis license. The proposed cultivation project described herein includes the cultivation of up to 5,000 square feet (SF) of outdoor mature canopy located in Trinity County on Assessor's Parcel Number (APN): 0'16-210-011-000. Cultivation activities will include approximately 4,664sqft of mature canopy in an existing 24'x48' greenhouse, including one (1) 6'x37' and two (2) 5'x44' canopy rows), one (1) existing 6'x27' hoop house and four existing (4) 6'x60' hoop houses, as well as eight (8) 6'x50' proposed hoop houses. Existing support infrastructure includes a permitted onsite groundwater well; a 300sqft immature canopy area, an 8'x40' container for processing and harvest storage; an 8'x20' structure for ag chemical storage: as well as a 10'x20' compost area. There is a permitted septic system onsite that services the project's wastewater needs. Power for the project is provided by TPUD. Proposed activities include the installation of the 2.400sqft total In 6' l1oop houses for mature canopy, on previously disturbed area with no noise impact.

Reasons for Exemption
The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is consistent with the local jurisdiction community plan and/or zoning designations. CEQA mandates that the project is consistent with the development density established by existing zoning, community plan, or general plan policies for which an EIR was certified and shall not require additional environmental review, except as might be necessary to examine whether there are project-specific significant effects which are peculiar to the project or its site. The project activity fits within the parameters included in CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 and the activity does not require additional CEQA analysis.
