Document Description
The project is limited to the removal of 15 non-native trees, removal of accumulated flooddeposited woody debris, and the installation of Class IV rock slope protection along 50 linear
feet of Keefer Slough. Rock slope protection will be placed in such a way that minimizes
voids and so that larger rocks are in the toe course and on the outside surface of the slope
protection. The project will leave in place several oak saplings that are growing along the
levee embankment. Keefer Slough will be dry during project activities.
