Document Description
The Department of Cannabis Control, pursuant to authority granted under Business and Professions Code, Section 26012, approved a Small Outdoor commercial cannabis license submitted on March 31, 2022, by Green Corner Farms, LLC. The proposed project is an existing Small Outdoor (up to 10,000 square feet [sf]) cannabis cultivation operation (DCC License CCL22-0001204) This project is located at 250 Fir Meadow Road (APN: 019-340-36-00) in an unincorporated area of Trinity County, California near Post Mountain. The total area of disturbance, including roads, is approximately 25,950 sf. The garden consists of a total mature cultivation area of approximately 9,424.33 sf. The cultivation area consists of 96 outdoor plants grown in 6’ diameter pots (2,714.33 sf), six 7'x94' beds, three 8'x94' beds (6,204 sf), one 450 sf. bed, and two 4’x7’ boxes (56 sf.). Immature cultivation area is approximately 300 sf. It is situated in an area with an average slope of approximately 3-5%. Support facilities total approximately 540 sf and include a storage area/shop for nutrients and pesticides, a cannabis waste compost area, generator/petroleum storage, and drying and processing space. There is a 550-sf residence installed on the property. Water is supplied by a permitted groundwater well and pump. The property utilizes an installed septic system serviced routinely as needed. Reasons for Exemption
The Department of Cannabis Control has determined that the project is consistent with the local jurisdiction community plan and/or zoning designations. CEQA mandates that the project is consistent with the development density established by existing zoning, community plan, or general plan policies for which an EIR was certified and shall not require additional environmental review, except as might be necessary to examine whether there are project-specific significant effects which are peculiar to the project or its site. The project activity fits within the parameters included in CEQA Guidelines Section 15183 and the activity does not require additional CEQA analysis.
