Document Description
The proposed project is for a license for a small outdoor cultivation license for commercial cannabis. The project site is located at 42501 Twin Pine Rd in Laytonville Mendocino County CA 95454 (APN 014-640-08-00). The proposed project is for 9,984 sf of mature and 1,920 sf of immature cultivation within a ~2.48-acre project footprint. Historic images show what appears to be cannabis cultivation on site as early as 2012. The current project footprint was established circa 2020. Irrigation is supplied by an existing on-site ground water well. Maximum annual water is estimated at 100,000 gallons. Power is supplied by PG&E through existing infrastructure with a yearly projection total of 1900 kWh.

Class 1 Categorical Exemptions consist of the operation, repair, maintenance, permitting, leasing, licensing, or minor alterations to existing public or private structures, facilities, mechanical equipment, or topographical features, involving negligible or no expansion of use beyond that existing at the time of the lead agency’s determination. None of the exceptions to this exemption defined in Section 15300.2 apply.
