Document Description
The purpose of the permanent repair project proposed by the Monterey County Water Resources Agency is to restore the Moss Landing Tide Gate facility to its original
operational condition. This facility provides protection from flooding due to tidal influence and prevents seawater from Moss Landing Harbor form entering the Moro
Cojo Slough. The Moro Cojo Slough is normally brackish body of water habitat that protects critical habitats where federally listed species can occur.
