The project involves constructing new bridge abutments, installing a prefabricated footbridge, and removing the existing deteriorated bridge and abutments across Tinemaha Creek at the Tinnemaha Creek campground.

The Tinnemaha Pedestrian Bridge Project is exempt because Inyo County will be replacing a pedestrian bridge that will have the same function as the bridge that is currently on site. Minor alternations to the land near Tinemaha Creek will occur to construct the concreate abutments for the replacement bridge to be placed on.
